What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage and pixels. They let a site remember your actions and preferences, and help us understand how the site is used.

This policy should be read with our Privacy Policy.

Cookies and storage we use

Strictly necessary

  • Session storage (quote estimator): remembers your progress through the estimator steps in the current browser tab so you do not lose selections if you refresh. It is cleared when the tab closes or when you complete or reset the estimator. No personal data leaves your browser through this mechanism.
  • Spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile, if enabled): may set a cookie to verify that form submissions come from a person. This is essential to keep the forms working and secure.

Analytics and performance (optional)

These tools load only when the corresponding account ID has been configured for the Site and, where required by law, only after you consent.

  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4): cookies such as `_ga` and `_ga_<id>` distinguish users and sessions so we can measure page views, traffic sources and conversions (for example form submissions and estimator completions). Typical lifetime up to 2 years.
  • Google Tag Manager (GTM): manages the loading of analytics tags. GTM itself does not usually set cookies but can deploy tags that do.
  • Microsoft Clarity: cookies such as `_clck` and `_clsk` support session recordings and heatmaps that show how visitors interact with pages. Clarity masks text input by default. Typical lifetime up to 1 year.

Third-party embeds

  • Google Maps on the Contact page and, if configured, a scheduling embed (Calendly-style) on the Contact page may set their own cookies when loaded. These are governed by the providers' policies.
  • LinkedIn and other external links do not set cookies from our pages until you visit those sites.

Cookies we do not use

We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies, and we do not sell data collected through cookies.

How to control cookies

  • Consent controls: where a consent banner is shown, you can accept or reject optional analytics cookies and change your choice later. [Consent-management tool to be confirmed.]
  • Browser settings: most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop forms or the estimator from working correctly.
  • Opt-outs: Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics. Microsoft Clarity respects browser 'Do Not Track' settings where configured.

Changes to this policy

We review this policy when we add or remove tools. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
